The story revolved around three brothers: Jason, Joshua, and Jeremy Bolt who lived in Seattle, Washington in approximately the 1860\'s. They ran a successful logging camp on Bridal Veil Mountain. Due to a lack of women in the town, they promised to bring 100 marriageable women from a war-torn New Bedford, Massachusetts to Seattle for the purpose of getting married. With the mountain as their collateral, they promised to keep the brides there for one year. The series\' success was hugely due to a talented cast which had an obvious chemistry. These actors brought to life memorable characters that are still cherished today. In the years that followed, the beloved series has never been forgotten by its fans. With a currently active fan club, websites, get-togethers, and fan fiction, the series is well-remembered and adored by fans of all ages. During past years, HERE COME THE BRIDES fans have attempted to copy it to VHS, only to be discouraged by worn out tapes and commercial interruptions. An overwhelming interest and huge fan base has the fans wanting to make their voices heard in hopes of getting HERE COME THE BRIDES preserved on DVD. With so many nostalgic series now available and some within the same genre, the fans have high hopes that the same will be made possible for HERE COME THE BRIDES.
