    Comments: I do not know the circumstances surrounding Brian's dismissal. But I do know that Brian is a dignified and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic and it does seem fair after a long tenure at Columbia University that he would be given a chance to dialogue about whatever situation came up.

    Comments: I can't even begin to understand how someone of Brian Fitzhugh's expertise, professionalism and simple human goodness can be dismissed in a reorganization. The goal should always be in any situation like this to keep the best people in place. I hope sincerely that this is a glitch that can be smoothed out and that Brian can continue to help the students of the Film Division for some time to come.
