The man who invented Javascript and is the new CEO of Firefox donated $1000 to an anti-gay marriage campaign is an opponent of equal rights for gay couples. In 2008, Eich donated the cash to the campaign supporting Proposition 8 in California, which was trying to make gay marriage remain illegal for the foreseeable future. In alignment with Mozilla employees, who doubted his suitability for CEO and called for him to step down we the undersigned vow to boycot firefox until an equivilant donation of $1000 is made by Brendan Eich to an apropriate pro LGBT charity.
