    Comments: I volunteer with a Siberian Husky rescue organization and every day we are forced to turn away purebred Siberians because we have no open foster spaces. Hundreds of wonderful Siberians die each day, through not fault of their own, because their "breeders" were irresponsible enough to put them on the earth without ensuring homes for life for them. To compound this problem by purposefully breeding mixed breed dogs is beyond irresponsible. There are 6 million animals that die each year in shelters across the US. There is simply no reason to add to this overpopulation by breeding mixed breed pups. I urge the AKC to suspend all privledges afforded this "kennel" in an effort to take away whatever "legitimacy" Ravenswood kennel now claims. They are a backyard breeder of questionable mixed breed dogs and should be known as such.

    Comments: I have been owned andloved by siberian huskies for almost 30 years. I an now planning my 2nd litter. I am trying to improve the breed--I'm not using my dogs as a "cash crop" which these people are doing. There are fae to many dogs in shelters today because of irresonable people like them.     Comments: As the owner of a Siberian Husky with a genetically-based disease previously unknown in the breed, I am quite concerned that this kind of 'misguided' breeding in order to make a buck on a 'rare new breed' ($1500 per pup) is increasing BOTH breeds chances of the introduction of new genetic problems. With the advent of genetic testing for the sole purpose of making our dogs healthier, I also feel that other registries need to stop allowing these breeders to register and sell these pups as a 'breed'.
