Comments: I feel that obedience training and socialization of dogs eliminates many of the problems with dogs. I currently own a rottweiler, that is 2 years old and spayed. I also own a German Shepherd that is 8 months old. Both of my dogs have been well socialized and obedience trained. I plan on having them tested for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award and I am sure both of them will pass. My dogs have never offered to bite anyone and people often comment on how well behaved and friendly they are. A dog that is well trained and socialized is usually an asset to her/his family.

Comments: I believe that insurance companies should only be allowed to deny further coverage if claims are made (and supported) of an attack by a homeowners dog. I personally, know of a family who has a domestic cat that frightens me more than their dog. Will insurance companies later decide to discriminate against feline owners....perhaps aggressive birds Breed bias is ridiculous and just another avenue insurance companies are taking to dictate what you can and cannot do in/at your own home.

Comments: It is unfortunate that our goverment cannot open their eyes to the prejudice this shows in our FREE COUNTRY. To judge a dog guilty by means of it's heritage is the same as judging individual races.
