Comments: Although I'm in the USA I have a friend in Canada who was forced into a c-section she didn't want, due to her frank-breech presenting baby. She had previously had a homebirth with an experienced midwife. Please, stop taking the birthing decision from the mother.

Comments: Absolutley! My hope is that one day the art of delivering breec babies is a common practice, as it should of always been.

Comments: My sister had two successful Breech births, without any difficulty. At that time, a C Section was not even considered.

Comments: I believe the existing guidelines are archaic and do not reflect the fact that birthing families today are, for the most part, much more educated about the medical aspects of birthing. Parents deserve a choice.

Comments: I fully support this petition, as my wife was not provided with vaginal breech birth option due to suppression of this technique in the Ottawa area by hospital administrators and the governing bodies. Bring back normal vaginal breech birth delivery!

Comments: Offering a choice when one is possible should be allowed, don't you think When the health and safety of the infant and/or mother are at risk, and the only option that remains is a caesarean section, then so be it. But if choice is available, why not allow that choice be made by the family invovled Let the mother decide, if it is medically feasible, to decide how she delivers her child. We must not let choices be removed from our society when they need not be. This is not about decision making, this is about the opportunity to chosse between two viable decisions. I hope you are listening.

Comments: re-signed to add comment: Choices are good. Lack of choices are not. Suppressing choice because there's an easy way out (c-section), can go where the sun doesn't shine as far as I'm concerned.
