Middlesbrough Council have decided to save money by closing Sure Starts and childrens centres accross the town. Breckon Hill Childrens Centre provide an invaluable home-from-home environment for children whose parents are working or studying. Closure this centre would have such huge impacts on many people, for the staff who would no longer have a job, for the families who rely on this childcare and more importantly for our children who at such young ages would have to deal with such a change.
