I believe it is a fair statement to say that mortality is an uncomfortable thing for most people to contemplate.
It is the choice of the individual as to how he or she will face death when it comes. Spiritual preparation is just as valid as scientific preparation, as life and death are truly very personal, polarizing concepts; no individual's concept of either will be exactly the same.
Regardless of one's beliefs, the Brain Preservation Foundation seeks to give people more choices.
This petition serves the pursuit of happiness, the advancement of technology and the preservation of human cultural complexity. Please give it your consideration.
The experiences and knowledge that every human collects throughout his life is of enormous value. It adds to the diversity of our world. Striving for brain preservation is not an egoistical decision. Everyone choosing that path takes a huge risk of pain and suffering. It should be everyone's right to choose (or refuse) that path.
