Say NO to Waste Transfer Station, Fleet St. Nelson

Say NO to Proposed Waste Transfer Station, Fleet Street, Bradley, Nelson. OVER five hundred RESIDENTS SAY - NO THANKYOU ! This would not be regeneration, And would be increasing local deprivation. WHY DO THEY SAY NO The proposed Waste Transfer Station will be dealing with household rubbish that has been in household bins for 2 weeks decaying and smelling the build up of such waste and such facilities will give the Rat population the vital three things: A) Regular food supply/water. B) Massive shelter areaâ

6 years ago Comments: As the Headteacher of Bradley Primary School I would like to say that I feel that the siting of the extended waste transfer station in Bradley ward is totally inappropriate.Bradley ward is on eof the most deprived 5% of wards in England. This proposal would further reduce the quality of life for residents. Secondly attempts are being made to regenerate Bradley ward in order to improve the locality and improve the quality of life of the residents. This proposal will contradict this aim.
