Name: Rakesh Kumar on Jul 8, 2008Comments: i along with my wife was working in Keane, Gurgaon. We worked one year in one process. Our TLs were never cooperate with our break-timings even the work load was minimal most of the days. But we were working. Suddenly, in March 2008, the management informed us that our process is going to another company (due to management decision). They shifted us without checking any educational or professional quality. Like i am B.Sc and my wife is B.A. They shifted me in "CHAPAI" process while my wife got the process, which require massive calculations and knowledge of shares and dividend. How can a person know about shares and dividend and do massive calculations if he or she is not having commerce background or even maths in 12th or Graduation How was the management. There was also one very big personal problem. I got rotated shift while my wife got permanent night shift. i had requested to the management lots of lots of time that please give ourself a similar time (anytime any-shift but should be similar). But they didnt change our process and even timing. However, some of my colleagues had changed their process, i dont know how There was no transparency in their decision. We were very depressed that time and eagerly looked for other companies. Amazingly, one day my wife's TL gave her a notice that if she not got 95% marks in test (which occurs after training), she has to be resign by force. My wife was very upset and fed up all that nonsense. She resigned from there same day. Surprisingly the HR team told that she was doing very good, AMAZING, isnt it Now i am working in a better company as well as in better position than Keane and my wife is also working in a branded company with a better salary than Keane. Our shift timing is permanent day and we are very happy. But i feel sorry for our colleagues. They always and every weekend got a surprise memorandum and working in a very fearful situation. i pray to god for them.Flag

Think management people think about this. Because you are also a part of an organisation. God knows...............Flag

I was totally lost without job. There was and is very responsibility on me and that was the bad phase of my life. Thanks god, now i am working in a better and far better company than keane. Name: Rohit on Jul 8, 2008Comments: Let me present an independent view here. What i find surprising is this. This so called "BPO Union" is led by a person who doesnt even want to tell his name, forget about his contacts. He hides behind a funny name called "cheif" !! :) What kind of a leader is he, hiding and leading Why cant he take the print out of this petition, walk to Keane office, and place it at the desk of HR Does he have the courage to do that More surprising part is that many people are actually believing that he is going to do something and following him. Sorry folks, this guy is just using all of you for his personal agenda ! I guess he is impacted by this, and I can only feel sorry for him. Mr. Chief, you are portraying yourself as a "looser", just grow up and move on ...Flag

Name: Chief (BPO Union 2.0) on Jul 8, 2008Comments: This is in response to the signature just above this post. We love the people at Keane. Let us applaud them for accepting the BIG truth in their first line ... any psychologist will read into this ... "Keane is an unstable company". That's what we have been saying all along, thanks for the endorsement. In case our friends at Keane feel all important, we've managed a trace IP addresses of comments 'planted' by you and/or agencies appointed by you. The fact is if you lost without a fight it'd all be too easy, we welcome the competition.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 16, 2008Comments: Its always better provide sufficient time and giving alternate opportunities & notification before laying of employees. Its every ones lively hood that they trying to snatch. Companies are paying managers more than what is required, who are not worth the work that they do. They should reduce their managers' salaries in order to compensate for the layoffs if at all they want to keep up the profit margins & competation.Flag
