CBM Rules | I support coal bed methane exploration and i hope the flathead development goes through. The flathead is not "pristine wilderness". Mining is not what is what 50 years ago.. it is conducted with science, not environmentalist rhetoric, and nimbyism. Modern day CBM exploration/production leaves next to no environmental footprint.
melissa leno | Please stop raping our earth of everything she has, we need to stop beating her to death and let her heal!
Josh Gawryluk | The governement and the people need to realize the true wealth we have is our wilderness... economic booms come and go... an environment like the flathead is priceless.... once its gone its too late... REJECT THE PROPOSAL
Katya Stirkul | The money from this project is not worth the horrendous environmental and wildlife impact. Leave the Flathead Valley alone!
jeremy bonsell | it is recklessly irresponsible to allow and encourage the destruction of an entire ecosystem, while poisoning thousands of people's drinking water.
Laura Archibald | Please.
Terry Marshman | The destruction of such a beautiful part of the world in the name of furthering our dependence on fossil fuels is just plain wrong. The oil companies will promote the benefits to the community, but ask yourself -just how many of the high paying engineering and technical jobs will go to people in Fernie? Just how many oil and has industry experts currently call Fernie home? The natural wonders of the area are what make Fernie great and damned if I am going to stand by and watch BP tear the place to make a quick buck and add to the climate change problem affecting us all.
