The holocaust is still present in our society. Pet stores are like prisons for millions of animals, and millions more die in them each year. The pet trade leads to the destruction of species of exotic animals. Pet stores do not properly care for the animals they sell. Animals in pet stores like Petco and Petsmart are malnourished and housed in improper living conditions. These pet stores do not inform the prospective pet owner of the care responsibilities and most animals end up dead. By signing this petition, you're doing your part to prevent cruelty to animals.
