I wish him well, and am very disappointed with MSNBC and those who were regulars on the Imus Show. How many of the commentators (i.e. Andrea Mitchell, etc) and politicos has Imus interviewed and helped them to sell their books Where are they now when he needs their supportFlag

Name: Janis Roberts on Apr 12, 2007Comments: To fire Imus without giving him time to meet with the girl basketball players is a sign of ignorance and/or racisum on your companies part. You worship the all-mighty dollar and bowed to pressure from a handfull of people disregarding the majority of your viewers opinions. Hopefully these young girls will have more respect, more forgiveness in their hearts, and better judgement of character then your money grubbing company and your sponsors. What you think you have saved in sponsor's $$$$, you've lost in viewers. You've chosen to look past all the good things Imus has done for this world, and lock in on a mistake he has whole heartedly apologized for over and over. It's too bad that we all can't be "PERFECT" like your company considers itself to be. Your news this morning was a disappointment, delivered dry and boring, and totally unwatchable. This made switching the channel all that more easy. Unlike your company though I did try and at least give it a chance, unlike what you gave Imus. You couldn't even hold up your end and let him finish out the week to earn money for a charitable event. Imus is a true man in the sense of the word and I will always have more respect for him then for any of the people of MSNBC or NBC that were cowards to stand up for one of their own. Remember, someday you will be judged too but unlike you, He will be more forgiving.Flag

Name: Lorna Ferguson on Apr 12, 2007Comments: This is a spectacular example of intolerance, double standard, rationalization and bad judgement. Don did a wrong thing for which he apologized sincerely. Imus a racist PLEASE!! I cannot believe how distorted this whole thing has become. MSNBC will go the way of Fox News in my home...it won't be on . I stand behind him completely. Steve Capus is a fool if he thinks we're buying into that "integrity" BS he's spouting. This comes down to $ and any right thinking person knows itFlag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 12, 2007Comments: This has gone to far, and it was in great poor taste to stop carrying IMUS, when your network allows and promotes the black community to insult the white community. If you are so worried add a disclaimer when coming back from commercial. many networks do, it goes something like this "the views in this program ar not the view of x- network, y-corporation, or z-people who work for us, it is the views of one man and theya re his own"Flag
