Comments: i feel that the transitions program is completely useless. it's "portfolio" all over again, but with a different name and a few different requirements.

Comments: Unfortunately, I already finished my grad plan this year, so I can't actually "boycott" this. However, as someone who has had to do it, I can confidently say it is a spectacular waste of time.

Comments: Im a straight A honours and AP student. How dare someone tell me I wont be able to graduate unless I fill out numerous worksheets on my daily intake of the 5 food groups I'm a student and I should be in school, getting an education and studying-not taking surveys to figure out what my skills are. I KNOW what they are. I KNOW what my plans are for after high school. Quit wasting my time.

Comments: I already have plans for my future, I think it's a waste of time to fill out the sheets when I already know. It feels like I'm getting the teacher's approval, which I think is wrong since it's MY life and MY decision. Also, one of the questions was something along the lines of "What are your current interest and how do they relate do your future goals" I thought that question was completely ridiculous, as I don't expect my interests of music and sports would relate to my goal of becoming an environmentalist. The grad transitions is a waste of a block, as everyone makes up the answers for fun anyways. No one is getting any benefit from it, other than practice is creativity in making up obscure answers.

Comments: I strongly agree with abolishing the Grad Transition Plan. This program has not helped me in achieving any goals, and someone has yet to convince me that it will help me in my later life. Fulfilling thirty hours of work experience is acceptable, but the new program for physical activity that is being integrated into our schools is ridiculous. Increasing the number of hours of physical activity only means either limiting the number of hours of study time or limiting the number of hours of sleep. Studies have shown that our generation is being overworked, and that this can have adverse consequences. We are being overloaded and overstressed, and if schools require healthy students with good grades, it is necessary to decrease the pointless and cumbersome curriculum. Grad Transition is not the way.
