Given that China has passed law allowing force against Taiwan if it moves toward formal independence, we call for the Olympic Movement as well as for athletes and governments of different countries in the world to boycott the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, which will be held in Beijing in 2008. As a municipal employee in Canada, I am against the fact that China threats to use force if Taiwan formally declares its independence. As China has been separating from China since 1949, let\'s Taiwan decide its own destiny.
