The virtual stockmarket is a wonderful simulation of the real one and many of their "games" teach kids how to budget their money in real life... My six year old daughter actually budgets her allowance thanks to the game!

    Comments: I really don't think they should sue neopets over a name. To be honest with you I never even thought of the "Chia Pet" when I say the pet's name. I have three people in my family who play in this site and two of them are under 18. They spend a lot of time in this site and I would rather them be playing games that require skill than be in front of the t.v. I have seen other sites and they don't even compare to Neopets. It would truly be a shame if this company would ruin a free site over a name. A million people all over the world share the same names, why can't products It's all about the money. In this world there are more things in life to enjoy. The company should be thinking more about children than their own wallets. I truly hope someone reads this and passes it along to those money-hungry suits.

My daughter introduced me to the site and she loves it also. However if it was a site that had to be paid for she never would have gone to it and the time we spend together on neopets would be lost.     Comments: I'm fifteen and this is the only site i have found where i have fun and with family values it keeps the site clean and is agianst any form of abuse on the users and/or pets I get to use my own creativity in this site in many others there are so many boundries also in play video game ect. the games ends but now i have something to do all the time meaning im saving my parents money so thier not having to run out and buy a new game every month or less and me and my mom have found something to bond with before i was out all the time running the streets hardly ever home but now i can sit at the computer with my mom and just talk about almost everything and we have fun all at the same time so please chia pets i beg of you keep this site free it would be almost impossible for me to have an account if it envolved money since i have enough problems with school let alone keeping a job and keeping up with home work so please don't sue keep it free for me and everyone else who enjoys this site thanks JoAna Flannagan ps why does it matter about the name anyways they didn't steal your patten and/or copyright they just came up with the name chia

    Comments: I play Neopets with my two oldest children and it would be more than a shame if the site were closed. Considering there are so many people playing and many of them are parents that read advertising may I suggest rather than sue neopet you negotiate for advertising space.

Almost everyone in the guild has kids, who play on the site, and many have brought up the fact that this site is a good fun site for kids to play on the internet, and keeps them occupied and away from the other violent games, adult sites, etc. Please keep Neopets UP and RUNNING!!!!

    Comments: In my opinion, this lawsuit is silly.. this is a GREAT website for family's to play together.. There isn't too many places on the web that will keep children AND parents alike entertained. I would think that even if somebody put an association to Chia pets from the cute little Chia in Neopets it would only help the Chia pet company by selling more of those [in my opinion] ugly plants. This law suit can only hurt the Chia Pet company. Word of mouth is a VERY strong weapon. I think Joseph Enterprises needs to think about that before they proceed with this lawsuit. Not only would they force Neopets to start charging for their site to cover the costs of this silly lawsuit, but they would be upsetting hundreds of thousands of family's that play Neopets every day. If Joeseph Enterprises feels that strongly about making Neopets stop using the name "Chia" as one of their "breeds" of neopets why not just ask them to change the name Thank you. Stephanie Preece
