Tivoli Village is a Gun Free Zone. Gun Free Zones have shown too many times of being areas were mass / active shootings take place. Criminals do not follow laws and do not follow no gun signs.
We all have an inalienable right to self defense and all that entering a gun free zone does is create a victim rich environment for criminals to harm those in the zone.
Nevada is an open carry state as such all we request is that Tivoli Village follow state law and allow law abiding citizens to legally carry on their property or we will BOYCOTT Tivoli Village and all its tenants.
NO Guns = NO MONEY for Tivoli Village Tenants

The numbers are creeping up toward five hundred and it would be incredible to hit that mark before I get back to the management office to show them just how many people are actually fed up with these policies. Honestly it is exhausting thinking about how they ignore basic safety but seeing that total grow helps keep the momentum alive so please keep pushing this link out to anyone who values their right to carry.

The count is creeping toward that hundred mark and my brain is just spinning with how many people actually get it because if we can just push past this point it proves people are tired of walking around as targets. This is a foolish act. Tivoli village is an open area. Much like a marketplace. Now, it's an easy target place. Signs have never stopped a shooter. We all know that. This is one bandwagon no one should be riding. Sorry, I won't be visiting as long as defending myself is frowned upon.
As a Nevada Concealed Handgun License Holder, I: Have no felony convictions, no drug convictions,mental defects/disabilities, no convictions and have passed a NICS criminal background check. HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS?
I carry because I do not feel that I am protected by the existing security situations that I encounter. When you can guarantee my security I will continue to carry. If you don't want me to carry, I will not patronize your property.
Both the NV State Constitution and the US Constitution protect the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Creating a "gun free zone" only serves to endanger the lives of all whom visit those places as has been proven time and time again. 99.9% of all mass shootings in recent years have occurred in so called "Gun Free Zones"
I will never patronize or support any business, organization who believes I should not have the right to defend myself in today's world. The State and Federal government find it suitable to issue me a CCW and as such do not consider me a threat. What makes you think you know better than them?
Keep in mind, people: Gun free zone signs on private businesses have no weight of law. I still support tenants who are good companies since the policy isn't their fault. I just conceal carry anyway.
Your management has made a very bad and dangerous policy decision. Yuh have lost my business until this policy is struck.

While I understand and can appreciate not feeling comfortable with open carry, I refuse to support any business that strips away my constitutional right to defend myself and my family. Those of us who hold a concealed weapons permit have undergone a background check and have been proven to be free of felony convictions.
