Even though City Council is not convinced and wants more studies, Porter Airlines will not relent:

Tell Porter Airlines that you will boycott their airline if they try to push jets on our Waterfront and continue their misleading ads. We don't need studies to know that expanding the airport and introducing jets and more airline traffic to the waterfront will mean more noise period, and that's not what Torontonians want.

Jets belong at Pearson and the Waterfront belongs to all the citizens of Toronto. Let's keep Toronto's great waterfront and down-town area beautiful and jet-free!
