    Please add comments: The over-reliance on standard multiple choice testing is harmful to the educational development of our students. We are creating students who care only about their test grades and less about their own learning. This is not the way to prepare students for the future they will face where standardized multiple choice test scores are less important and complex decision making and problem solving is the norm. The move to put our school curriculum into the hands of corporate developers, that began with "No Child left behind" should be halted. When school districts are being forced to operate on significant budgetary constraints it is unconscionable that the state is spending such amounts on testing and then assisting the corporations with their work using the valuable time that should be devoted to educating our students.
