Hello Bowie State alumni and friends. Join the movement to invite the governor, state and city politicians, the business community and most importantly alumni, students and friends in an aggressive campaign to build a world class Convocation Center on the campus of Maryland's oldest HBCU, Bowie State University.

As we prepare to celebrate the sesquicentennial of Bowie State, let's celebrate by advocating and working collectively to build something the university really needs and deserves. Let's build a building that can accommodate large crowds in a safe and comfortable environment. This would be a multi use facility that could benefit university, the city and the region. It would be a revenue generating facility. The timing for this project could not be better.

Recently, the State of Maryland was sued for inadequate funding of its HBCU's. The judges ruling was favorable and provides a good rationale and opportunity to let our collective voices ring loud and clear. Sign this petition, build the momentum and
