The petition

We, the undersigned residents, taxpayers, parents, and voters of Bow NH 03304, oppose the current & future cost, philosophy, and implementation of the UN's International Baccalaureate (IB) program in the Bow School District and respectfully ask the Bow School Board and the Bow High School & SAU Administration to immediately discontinue all activities, appropriations and funding of this IB Diploma Programme.

We further recognize that this controversial program is offensive to many and with the school board’s own admission would benefit only a very few students. In these difficult economic times we need to acknowledge that resources are limited and that those resources must be applied to programs that will benefit as many Bow students as possible.

Bow Schools have long been known for their academic and athletic excellence which has united the Bow Community over the years. We do not wish to jeopardize this unity by initiating this divisive IB Programme.

Your name and email will remain private and only be submitted to the Bow School authorities who have control over our school programs and budget. We only ask for this information so that we may verify that you are a bona fide Bow Taxpayer.

Please keep your optional comments anonymous as those will be the only thing displayed. Even if you forget to check the box asking to be listed as anonymous, your name will not be displayed.
