Any kitesurfer who has been taught by a BKSA instructor or an IKO instructor will have been taught all aspects of safety to ensure the safest environment for both the kitesurfer and other people around them.Flag

Name: Dan Turner on Nov 28, 2008Comments: Closing the harbour to kite surfing would be detrimental to the area. Kiters add colour & interest to the harbour. The local council should show how positive & forward looking they are by supporting & helping the developement of watersports in this area.Flag

Name: Ian Slowey on Nov 28, 2008Comments: There seems to be a fashion to attempt to ban kiteboarding at the moment by short sighted/ narrow minded people in councils. Kiteboarding is a growing sport and has the potential to generate considerable revenue for any location that is blessed to have decent conditions. What is the real reason for the attempt to ban this sport in this location there is a society that blanket bans kite flying using laws and punishments, they are the TalibanFlag
