PLEASE guard our borders! Recently an illegal alien from Belize,raped and killed a 9-year old girl. Also an illegal murdered a rookie police officer,who leaves behind a wif and a 6-month old boy. He was a Christian police officer. I greatly resent the millions of ILlegal immigrants in the US breaking our laws, lowering our unskilled labor wages, and sky-rocketing our government spending on healthcare, education, law enforcement, etc. Our troops would serve a higher purpose protecting the US's borders than the borders of other nations, especially those in Europe and the Middle East, that have the financial resources to defend themselves.

I say yes to placing our military at the border and ports. I am not against legal immigration, guest worker programs. But we have to stop the flow of illegal entry into our Nation. Had this been the case 911 may have never happened.

To help provide more troops for this purpose ,and others, the Federal laws that govern the age limit to join the U.S Military and the mandatory retirement age must be ammended .Please contact your U.S Congressperson to have these laws ammended.The age limit to join should be ammended to age 45. The mandatory retirement age should be ammended to age 65.
