Name: Evelyn Smith on Sep 1, 2006Comments: As you say "it is our magazine"...I personally do not want to be with out it! as a "lucky" target member I rely on getting Boost delivered...as I do not always manage to make a class. I work in a mini market and we got the Boost Magazine in the shop...every copy went! I hope you listen and take into account the views of the members...of Scottish Slimmers and the forum.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 1, 2006Comments: Boost iwas the first magazine I bought which had a positive approach to weight loss and when I decided to cut down my magazine subscriptions, Boost was the one I decided to keep. Many of my work colleagues have gone out to get a copy after I've told them what a fabulous way it is to lose weight and I'm sure with a little advertising, sales would improve.Flag

Name: Claire Grier on Sep 1, 2006Comments: please don't discontinue the boost mag, there may be people out there who don't have the money to go to class or to join your dietline or may even not have the confidence to join a class that need the life line that the boost mag can offer then, we all need regular boost mags for our own confidence and new recipes. Scottish slimmers is the best the way it is, please don't change it!Flag

Name: Lynsey Chalmers on Sep 1, 2006Comments: as is said above, surel the magazine can be posted by subscription. it seems to me this is an idea to get more people to join classes or dietline. I feel it is unfare that people who do not live near a class or wish to join diet line, but still wish to follow PEP should be denied access to BoostFlag

Name: Louise Nimmo on Sep 2, 2006Comments: This is an utterly ridiculous decision to be made. The magazine should be made available to all. Many rely on this magazine every month, those who can`t afford the weekly class fee for instance, and not all have access to buy online. I really think for the sake of Scottish Slimmers reputation, this decision should be overturned.Flag

Name: Tara Wilson on Sep 2, 2006Comments: i am really totally disappointed at the decision to take boost down to only a few times per year.my class is very busy due to the fact ss has cancelled the later class and sometimes its v hard to get a chat with the cm.i rely on boost for help cos its hard to always chat to the cm. if ss had actually distributed this magazine properly and had it freely available int he shops then more people would have been able to by the magazine, therefore increasing the sales.this is really putting me off ss now as it seems they dont really take into account what the members thinkFlag

I was buying my copy in a local newsagent and am very disappointed that the magazine is not going to be for sale in shops and will not be published as regularly as it is a much needed support for a lot of people.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 2, 2006Comments: i am very diappointed at this news,if ss had actually bothered to distribute this magazine in the way that weightwatchers, rosemary conley, slimming world and slimming magazine do then it would be available to the same amount of people that buy the aforementioned magazines.this would surely be profitable for ss.i also feel it is totally unfair to have boost available to buy online an issue at a time, this is mean and unfair also.the reason i have subscribed is because sometimes i cant get it in the shops or at class.very disappointed in ssFlag

Name: Jenny Jones on Sep 2, 2006Comments: Boost should be available to purchase as and when it is required. To make it class only is discriminating against those who have no classes near to them. Do you wish all your loyal readers to defect to Weight Watchers/Slimming World or Rosemary Connelly If so you are going the right way about it. I think that the reaction to your announcement should be enought to make you rethink this situation. As far as I am aware it is the people that attend your classes/dietline AND buy the magazine that help to keep you all in employment. Do right by your customers and rethink this appaling decision.Flag
