   Comments: When ever I have required planning I have always had to prove a need there is absolutely no need for a truck stop in this area already there are 7 within a radius of 60 mile also it will take business from those already in this area. Has the impact ever been considered by the city or is it that they are out of this area and just don,t care or maybe some of the city elect have an interest in the property.

   Comments: Although I live outside the city limits, I am adamantly opposed to this truck stop development. Do not be short sighted and start chipping away at what makes Boerne a desirable place to live. I live 4 miles off I-10 and the thunder from trucks has gotten louder each year. Let's not encourage more trucks and all that goes along with that!

    Comments: We are county residents and are strongly against allowing the Flying J truck stop from being built. It is inapproapriate for our community and not required for development. The city should not annex the property until an ordinance is passed with specific parameters that prevent this type of development.

    Comments: I live at 106 Green Meadows Drive in Boerne. One has only to look at the 18-wheeler traffic and resulting traffic problems in Comfort at IH 10 and Hwy 87 to see what Boerne's furture would be with a truck stop/travel center at the entrance to our town. Several years ago Boerne voted to improve the quality of life in our town and we have added some wonderful features. Although the truck stop would add to our tax base, it would be a detriment to our quality of life in Boerne.

    Comments: We live on Pfeiffer Road and the intersection of Pfeiffer and the I10 Frontage Road is already difficult. It will only get worse with a huge truckstop in the area. We are concerned about the safety of our family. There are many other areas to locate a truck stop that would not interfer with our quality of safety and quality of life. Please do whatever is required to stop this new undesired development that will impact the entire region in a negative way.
