Name: Patricia A. Rackley on Jan 11, 2013Comments: I recently moved to Boerne because it is Boerne. I wanted to get away from the very things that this Council is trying to create, , "Big". Big does not make better. People come here for the small, hometown effect that it hows now. Please do not destroy what you have!!!Flag

Name: Sarah Nelson on Jan 11, 2013Comments: Although I'm a county, not a City resident I request that annexation of the proposed tract be delayed until changes can be made in zoning regulations to prohibit a devleopment of a truck stop or travel center that will adversely affect our fine City with air, light, noise, and water pollution as well as create a strain on City and County resources such as roads, police, filre and emergency vehicles.Flag

Name: Juan Saavedra, Jr. on Jan 11, 2013Comments: We are residents of the City of Boerne and strongly oppose this truck stop plan. I have been a resident of Boerne since 2007. We moved to Boerne from Houston because we wanted to get away from these type of developments. People move here because of the SMALL hometown we have now. Do not destroy what we have! I plead once again “No Truck Stops In Boerne...” Protect the residents quality of life and property values. This is NOT the industrial development we want in Boerne. This type of development will begin the on-pour of XXX retail stores that are joined at the hip to many Truck Stops surrounding Houston/Austin. Postpone annexation of this property until proper zoning rules preventing this type of development can be put in place… Protect the image and sanctity of Boerne…Flag

Name: Susan Eiteljorg on Jan 11, 2013Comments: Please do not destroy the beauty and integrity of Boerne by allowing such a massive concentration of noise, pollution, traffic and trash which would result from a gathering of folks who have no vested interest in our community. My husband and I live outside the city limits but near the city water supply.Flag
