Final supporters
The ESL UK Premiership was previously a best of 3 format and recently we have been given a spot in the challenger series qualifiers (1st place team). ESL have put their own needs in front of the fans of UK League (there are some) and the teams involved to create a best of 1 SINGLE ROUND ROBIN format.
This means we only play each team on one side in the regular season.This is outrageous as the competitiveness of the league is reduced significantly and the exposure ESL and the teams involved get is lowered too. Not to mention fans see less of their favourite teams.
Could there not be a 2-day broadcast of bo2s? Or even 2 simultaneous streams on the same night? We're sure the LeagueUK channel would be willing to help. The teams involved that created this petition understand that bo3's are not a viable option for ESL due to the broadcast length being too long and the "instability" of our teams (this argument is not so valid since half the league are on contracts now). Bo2's help keep the competitiveness of the league, keeps the teams involved happy, the fans happy and the stream time can be handled over 1 night still.
Please sign if you are against the bo1 format and in favour of this suggestion.

I was just looking at the schedule again and honestly the one game format makes no sense when everyone just wants to see these teams actually play each other fully. I have been chatting with a few people behind the scenes and the frustration is definitely shared so maybe they will finally listen if we keep pointing out that two games is just better for everyone involved.

I really did not think this would gain so much steam so fast but here we are and it is wild to see everyone agreeing that bo1 is just not the right move for the league. Seeing so many people actually care about the competitive integrity of the UK scene makes me feel a bit less crazy for starting this in the first place because honestly who wants to watch a single game when you could have a full set.

Think it's within all of our best interests to stick with a non-Bo1 system, a system that most of the world's regions are moving away from. It'll no doubt help our aspiring pros prepare for the Challenger Series Quals and improve on what may already be a relatively small chance at making the big time.
Bo1 doesn't reflect rankings well in a game with side advantages, at minimum it should be double round robin
BO2 would be better for everyone, Stops cheesy team comps and showcases our talent more -Exertus Esports
Bo2 is best for showing adaptability, while also allowing a team to get credit for being innovative with surprise picks.
Bo2 is better as it encourages growth, competition and brand awareness for everyone involved - ManaLight
