209 AnonymousOur 2002 mini Cooper S airbag light has been on for about 1 year. Long Beach Mini, California will look at it for $150.oo. I don't know how much they would charge to fix it. I love our car, hate the light, makes me nervous, I can't be certain if it would engage if we were in a serious accident.
210 Jas SummonAirbag light has come on and wont go out. This is obvousily a design fault seeing BMW/MINI have given USA a 10 Year warranty on the same fault.

224 Paul MackerethI feel very strongly that Mini UK is dodging what is clearly a common fault (2 years and 11 pages of forum posts on Mini2 Forum) especially considering that Mini USA has acknowledged the fault and extended the warranty to facilitiate repair at no cost to the owner.

236 Simon ClarkIt is completely unfair that this known fault is not already repaired free of charge! If I were to sell somthing with such a fault I would be expected to fix it. This is just typical of customer service these days. I thought BWM were better than that
237 AnonymousI have an 02 mini s and have paid for this fault to be corrected by private garage (BMW wanted to charge me £250) and now a year later the fault is back again. The mini was purchased from private dealer in surrey
