Name: Andrew Glen Myers on May 6, 2007Comments: This law is the most steriotypical and descrimitive around. It tells the ones who can not donate because of this that they are not looked highly upon. This should be out of the law books as soon as possible. If we sstrive to be an inclusive and unjudgmental society how can politicians support such a law.Flag

I would like to help but I am banned from helping for no valid reason. These practices need to be changed to fit our changing world!Flag

Name: John-Paul Roman on Jun 27, 2007Comments: The questionnaire should ask more applicable questions like "Have you had unprotected sex since 19XX"; "Have you used needles to take drugs since 19XX"; "When was the last time you were tested for HIV/AIDS What was the result" A major part of this is not even about preventing HIV transmission through blood tranfusions. All a gay man has to do is lie on the questionnaire. It is only to exclude an entire population and keep homophobia socially acceptable. I urge politicians and organizations to look beyond personal prejudices and opinions and think realistically, scientifically, and reasonably.Flag
