Being a longtime Vancouver Whitecaps fan and with our new soccer stadium on the horizan, the Whitecaps will eventually make their jump from the USL to MLS as well. The Whitecaps and Blizzard can have the same rivalry like the Leafs-Canadiens/Canucks. It would definitely market the beautiful game in Canada. The NASL may be gone, but its legacy needs to continue. Let's hope that teams like the New York Cosmos, who have had big games against the Blizzard and Whitecaps, get revived. If that happens, MLS will take really take off.
