The BLIZZARD were also known across Canada, North America and the World. They played in both the NASL and CSL, and thus had many fans across Canada. I always looked forward to the BLIZZARD coming to Winnipeg in the CSL. They always crushed the Winnipeg Fury, but it was a joy to watch their superior football at every level. It is also the greatest North American sports franchise name in history (with only the Whitecaps coming close).
