The bond between person and pet is like no other relationship, because the communication between fellow creatures is at its most basic. Eye to eye are two creatures of love. No wonder people enjoy taking their animal companions to church for a blessing. Church is the place where the bond of creation is celebrated. The Blessing of the Pets is common practice in other churches. Currently Messiah does not offer this worship service. Please sign this petition if you would like to see MUMC offer such a service.
