I fully support the endeavor to complete the proposed path and provide an additional commuter way for our workforce.Flag

Name: Bill Dakai on Jul 12, 2011Comments: I live in Millville MA and recently the town has been asked to overturn prop 2 1/2 to augment the ever shrinking pool of money available to fund town operations. I believe that the towns along the Blackstone river, such as Millville, should market their history related attractions to the tourisim industry as a additional sourse of income. The completion of the Blackstone Bikeway would be a major step in attracting tourists to our area. We were the birth place of the industrial revolution but we have missed the beginning of the bicycle touring era. Now is not the time to delay............ let's spend money on something that will actually boost our local economies for years to come.Flag

Name: Gregory Dubell on Dec 30, 2011Comments: I am a resident of Uxbridge, MA and work in Pawtucket, RI. I am frustrated with the slow progress of the design and environmental permitting of the Massachusetts portion of the Blackstone River Bikeway (a.k.a., Blackstone River Greenway) but am encouraged by the recent progress made by Massachusetts DCR. This is a very important project and I use the already built sections of the Rhode Island portion of the bikeway all year round.Flag
