Name: Amy Frazier on Jun 22, 2009Comments: YES, this is a project that our community would greatly fully benefit from, and would benefit our visitors. Our beach is rated top in the world and we need this expansion. Please think of out future, as once it is gone (sold and built on) there is no getting it back.Flag

Name: Anja Wilms on Jun 23, 2009Comments: Hanalei Bay and especially Black Pot are my favorite areas on Kauai. It is a great place for families to spend time together, have BBQs, meet with friends, play in the sand, go fishing, jump off the pier and enjoy time in the water. Unfortunately, this beautiful recreational area is very crowded - not so much the water or the beach, but the parking areas! On weekends it can take a long time to find a parking spot and there have been occasions when I have opted not to go to Hanalei Bay because of the difficulties to find parking. Dear Governor Lingle, please support the funding of the Black Pot Expansion and help make this valuable land available to the community. Thank you! Anja Wilms Princeville, HIFlag
