Sydney | Godfrey | FL | US | I feel that the window tinting law of west vrginia needs to be lowered. The law as it is now doesnt serve any purpose, it does not protect, shade, or anything. It would b e more useful to the drivers to have darker windows. I see police officers driving around all the time with darker windows than are legal!

Darius | Hadi | WV | US | I tinted my windows on my 06 Scion xA to 20% front and back, and I can't get a state inspection sticker because it is too dark. Plus I spent good money on the tint.

Bobby | Bennett II | WV | US | i agree that this reduce of th window by at least 10 percent is a great idea. i really does help with all off the above

Anonymous | Anonymous | WV | US | Why waste money on 35% tint?I would like to have protection for my leather seats from the sun and 35% will not cut it.
Nell | Lilly | WV | US | I recently had to have my tinting stripped off to keep from getting a fine. My job is in ahigh risk area and I felt safer with the tint. Please let me know if the petition gets this law changed.

Daniel | Cochran | WV | US | 35% is stupid. I have a sports car with leather interior and black dashboards. to much sun will crack all this stuff. well guess what super troopers. 35% aint enough. Drop her down to about 20%
Brian | Wilson | WV | US |
scott | duymich | WV | US | completely agree it helps with the heat so much 35% doesnt do anything
D | Thompson | WV | US | I have always had wintow tint in my cars. The car stays cooler in the summer, and I do not get blinded by headlights of people that do not know what a dimmer is for.
David | Spynda, Jr | WV | US | The law should allow 20% - 25% tint. The car looks better, the interior would last longer, the inside would stay cooler. The police get scared when they cannot see into a vehicle; proven fact. Anyone who has tint should, as a courtesy to the police, roll down all the windows so they feel more secure and you, the owner are less of a potential threat. 20% should be the law everywhere to make it a US standard.
Anonymous | Anonymous | WV | US | Ohio has no limit, why is that? So if you have Ohio tags you can ride all you want in WV. Thats not right. Darker tint also keeps my car cooler which in turn causes me to use less a/c, which also helps with gas saving. We definitly need this law lowered to at least 20-25%. Its just another way for our state to take our money. You think if i was gonna harm an officer I would care about the darkness of my tint.
Anonymous | Anonymous | WV | US | i have a new 2010 camaro and i do not want thieves/general public coming to my windows and looking inside. This not only protects me but others that have a similar situation!
Raymond | Leonard | WV | US | Trooper safety has to be number 1, but occupant safety while driving is imperative. A darker tint reduces glare without imparing visibility. this would be a sound change.
