Name: Jemima Kinloch on Mar 9, 2010Comments: As an Australian woman in the 21 century i have the right to vote. I also should have the right to choose how i birth my own child! This is a basic human right. i wish this for my daughters too. it is a fact that in the U.K the hostpitals are over crowded and encouraging healthy mothers to birth at home. there are many benifits for the mother, child and the hospitals! This is a womans right.Flag

It is what I want to do, and what I will do even if it is illegal.Flag

I pray more families will make this choice. I feel that hospitals are pure hell as a place to go for childbirth. All 4 births were healthy and normal.Flag

Name: Gina Kieninger on Apr 30, 2010Comments: I received such superior prenatal, birth and follow-up care from my midwives that I can't imagine doing it another way. My girlfriend's OBGYN simply did not have the time or experience with uncomplicated birth to serve her adequately. We gave birth 10 days and many worlds apart. All women should have the right to chose this for themselves and their babies.Flag
