Whereas:  Kidney disease is a huge and growing problem in Canada
Whereas:  Real progress is being made in various ways of preventing and coping with kidney disease, in particular the development of a bio-artificial kidney.
We:  The undersigned call on the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to make research funding available for the explicit purpose of conduting bio-artificial kidney research as an extension to the research being successfully conducted at several centres in the United States.
