| 56 | Christopher Leak | I support this petition that the smoking must be amended in favour of choice for all. The ban itself disregard the basic principles of freedom two choose ones way of life, it was bought about undemocratically, and is founded on a blatant lie. |
| 57 | Mick Duffy | Please amend the current draconian smoking ban to give freedom of choice to all UK residents and non UK visitors. |
| 58 | ian grainger | It's a ban on sanity. |
| 59 | Ian Simmonds | |
| 60 | Scott Gormley | If you have No Smoking areas, then surely it is logical, in a democracy, to have clearly defined Smoking Areas which non-smokers can choose to avoid. A choice conversely not available to smokers. |
| 61 | Brenda Orsler | Sick of this Nazi State |
| 62 | Carol Valasek | It should be up to the owner of a business, whether they allow smoking or not. Not the government. Our freedom is being taken away, one step at a time.
Wise up America! |
| 63 | Anonymous | The smoking ban is causing millions of people to stay
at home, rather than spending much of their evening standing outside pubs to smoke in the cold and rain. It is ruining peoples social lives, it is discrimination, it is very unfair. |
| 64 | Amanda Goldsmith | Persecution is the only word to describe this ban.
Persecution of law abiding, taxpaying, valuable citizens of the UK. |

| 67 | P Ronald | We at dwp corruption are in complete alliance, with freedom to choose. It is, and always should be our lawful right to have freedom to choose. With a democrtaic government working on our behalf, for the betterment of the people. Rather than the corrupt fascist labour rule, which uinlawfully dictates to us and would prefer unlawful malicious vindictive persecution (UMVP) rather than truth and justice? |

| 71 | Derek Langley | The ban has affected my social life. I no longer visit public houses as the character of such places has been destroyed. I personally would never go outside to smoke my pipe.
My daughters are now young mothers and they have both been braiwashed into the secondary smoke scare tactics.
I would never smoke anywhwere in the close presence of a young child or at a dining table as I consider it bad manners. My daughters have been frightened by the establishments strong anti smoking propaganda and no longer am I allowed to smoke in their houses, even outside.
The consequence of this is I avoid visiting them, my grandchildren and myself are now in state controlled denial. |

| 73 | paul kiley | How much more clap trap are we going to take with this kind of Nazi dictatorship where our RIGHTS and Democrocy are being taken away from us. On the question of smoking, people from all walks of life enjoy tobacco. |
| 74 | Anonymous | Give us back the choice, We are NOT stupid!!!! |

| 90 | Sian Thomas | I live in Wales and we have "Lived" with the smoking ban for 2 years. It has been disastrous in a working class economy and has served to reduce social life as well as relaxation in Welsh pubs by well over HALF.
A good thing ? NOT if you consider the unemployment levels set to reach record highs. NOT if you consider the fat cats getting fatter and good old working joe public getting bored and poorer!
We should have choice for all and sooner rather than later. |
| 91 | Susan Hamilton | I too feel like a second class citizen. This country has suddenly turned into something akin to apartheid South Africa where whites and non-whites had to sit on different benches, attend different swimming pools, bars and restaurants. Is this REALLY what they want? It is absolutely inhumane and I will fight it to the end. |
| 92 | Dave Stowell | I am a smoker and would like to be able to enjoy smoking whereever i am rather than be banished in the open air. Its not just smokers i know who belive in this freedom of choice! Fight the ban even if you have swallowed all the lies about second hand smoke! |

| 95 | Graham Edwards | Labour in Scotland have already being punished in the bye elections since their smoking ban came into effect and should be again in Glenrothes. In England they got a bloody nose in Crewe and Nantwich. Somebody needs to let them know that a change to the smoking ban is still on the agenda! |
