Name: Anonymous on Jan 4, 2013Comments: Liquor laws in this state are utterly ridiculous. Under *no* circumstances should a business already operating legally and in a way that clearly benefits the neighborhood, city, and region see its rights reduced. Further, if anything, Baltimore needs to grant far -more- liquor licenses and Maryland as a whole should leave the dark ages. Allowing direct shipment of wine to our homes was a good start... now how about we allow Costco to carry liquor and, in turn, obliterate the backwards middle-man system that only serves to increase expenses for those of us who wish to consume a legal product in a responsible fashion and limit our choice and availability... not to mention forcing us to visit two stores (one of which, unless it's Bin 604 and the rare others like it, is bound to be a dingy, sketchy, simply unpleasant Bunker O' Liquor And Gloom) just to get the ingredients necessary for a decent pasta sauce! Sheesh!Flag
