Community members of the Big Lake and Big Lake Township and area need to stand up for a better option in our cable and internet provider.

Currently, the only option to those not living within the city limits of Big Lake have found that only WindStream is available for internet services and Dish and DirectTV for television.

WindStream has an old infrastructure that limits users to 6 and 12Mbps internet speeds at a cost that some people simple cannot afford.

WindStream will not be able to, in it's current status provide any speeds beyond the 12Mbps limit. And if many of you know, with children and the advancement of internet movies on your TV and students using computers for school, 12Mbps is simply too slow for a family.

Also for those including myself who also work from home in any type of software or heavy use of the internet, can appreciate having a more reliable high speed internet provider, at a reasonable cost.

I am asking you, to help get Charter Communications to expand its network over the Elk and Snake Rivers and expand around to the entire Big Lake township.

Please help let Charter know we in Big Lake would welcome them and the expenses to put more cable in, would be offset by the revenue generated with new customers in the area.
