The first day of school for 2010-11 in the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake School District is scheduled for Thursday, September 9th. This day is also Rosh Hashanah, one of the most important Jewish Holidays. It is comparable to scheduling the first day on Christmas or Easter. We feel this should be remedied by rescheduling the first day of school to another day. 

If you are a parent of a BHBL student, please join us in showing your support of moving the first day of school to another day by signing this petition. Every signature makes a difference!
