Comments: The BJCC site should be the only option. If Langford wants the dome to be the center piece of the city, then it should be built downtown where it is visible from the interstate corridor.

Comments: I have wnated a dome since 1996. Why ruin and delay a dream that has been 15 years in the making The Alamodome is proof enough the dogtrack location is WRONG. Please, Larry, before it's too late, don't build it in irondale!

Comments: Build it downtown, San Antonio is a good negative case study, and Houston is a good recent positive case study for what can happen when the Goverment invests money is a centralized downtown area.

Comments: I live downtown, so I know a lot about the area. It NEEDS an event center to keep it alive and going strong. The loft districts have brought the residents, now we need the tourists, thriving businesses, and entertaintment centers!!!!!

Comments: Having the dome downtown would greatly increase the chances of getting more businesses to move there to cater to the people who will be at the dome. This would dramatically help the downtown area.

Comments: Poll Birmingham residents and see how many even know where the Race Course is. Is that the same result we want if this dome is built Find another city with their dome way outside the city center and you'll find a mistake. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Comments: If the business license is going to be increased at least provide a means for them to afford the new licensing fee! IF you are taxing b'ham businesses for a dome they should be able to reap the benefits of what they are partially paying for.

Comments: this is ridiculously important! i cant believe they are actually going to build the dang dome, but building a dome outside the city to the dog track would be more than silly. if it cant go downtown somewhere, mr. langford needs to consider other ways to spend the taxpayers hard earned money. this isnt a game.
