Trey TillmanThe BJCC site should be the only option. If Langford wants the dome to be the center piece of the city, then it should be built downtown where it is visible from the interstate corridor.

ShawnWe should explore all options, this is not a decision to rush into...

Kera DorseyIf the voters can't get Langford NOT to build it, at least put the stupid dome in a place where it might help the city of Birmingham.

Charles NajjarI have wnated a dome since 1996. Why ruin and delay a dream that has been 15 years in the making? The Alamodome is proof enough the dogtrack location is WRONG. Please, Larry, before it's too late, don't build it in irondale!

Charles NajjarBuild the Dome Downtown.. PLEASE! It makes NO sense to build it away from the skyline!
Deon GordonThere's nothing to say that hasn't been said already. Let's hope common sense wins.

sara cannoni dont want a dome.. but if your gonna do it, put it downtown. Ive been living downtown for over 2 years now. We need to build the city center up and start being responsible.
Seth Persons
Terence WaldronBuild it downtown, San Antonio is a good negative case study, and Houston is a good recent positive case study for what can happen when the Goverment invests money is a centralized downtown area.

Charles Amos HornI don't support the dome AT ALL, but if it does get built, there is no reason to build it anywhere but downtown.
Erin Sutton
Stacy AllenI live downtown, so I know a lot about the area. It NEEDS an event center to keep it alive and going strong. The loft districts have brought the residents, now we need the tourists, thriving businesses, and entertaintment centers!!!!!
Leo Ticheli
Timothy Jarrod AllenLa La needs to held accountable. We can't let McGregor weasel a dome out of our city!

Lauren Finedevelopment in the downtown area of Birmingham can not further when nothing is being done to promote life downtown.
Sam KillpackHaving the dome downtown would greatly increase the chances of getting more businesses to move there to cater to the people who will be at the dome. This would dramatically help the downtown area.

RCPoll Birmingham residents and see how many even know where the Race Course is. Is that the same result we want if this dome is built? Find another city with their dome way outside the city center and you'll find a mistake. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

nate dregerBuild the dome downtown or don't build it. Wasn't the point to revitalize downtown?
CarlaI am against the Dome in general, but more against the Dome at the dog tracks because it's just completely outrageous.
Catherine B.If the business license is going to be increased at least provide a means for them to afford the new licensing fee! IF you are taxing b'ham businesses for a dome they should be able to reap the benefits of what they are partially paying for.
nadya plataplease do the dome..
Matthew Willette
ryan wardenthis is ridiculously important! i cant believe they are actually going to build the dang dome, but building a dome outside the city to the dog track would be more than silly. if it cant go downtown somewhere, mr. langford needs to consider other ways to spend the taxpayers hard earned money. this isnt a game.
