Citizens for a Better IGH opposes a proposed Wal-Mart at the corner of Cahill Avenue and Concord Blvd. While IGH needs more retail, restaurants, office space, and other venues, a singular warehouse-style building is not an appropriate use for the Concord/Cahill site. IGH policymakers, businesses and citizens need to collaborate to bring retail, restaurants and other development that benefits the entire community and smartly uses the land on which its built.
We plan to deliver this petition to the City of Inver Grove Heights to show that the citizens of IGH oppose a proposed development of Wal-Mart at Cahill and Concord.
