Name: Jeff Munger on Aug 4, 2004State: TXCountry: USComments: Downtown Houston could use the services of a major lighting designer. It is currently presents a very uninspiring - and disappointing - nightscape. Energy capital of the world Huh, you'd hardly know it...Flag

Name: Tyler Smith on Apr 8, 2005State: TXCountry: USComments: I think downtown would definitely present itself in a more sophistocated manor if many buildings didn't use the same boring white christmas lights surrounding the rooftops. Houston needs to look how other cities present their skylines at night such as: Philladelphia, Dallas, Austin, and Atlanta.Flag

Name: Anthony Simmons on Apr 11, 2005State: TXCountry: USComments: I think that Houston could do so much at night that could trounce even the magnificence of the daytime skyline. A much smaller downtown, like Charlotte, NC, should not be more memorable than the heart of the Energy Capital of the World. By the way, the recent lighting of Toyota Center's roof is very nice.Flag

Name: Vance Lawrence on Apr 18, 2005State: TXCountry: USComments: My family and I would REALLY like to see the lighting of downtown Houston during the Power of Houston festivals of past to be the regular look of downtown at night. That alone would boost our image, our tourism, and our morale! We're a great city! Let's show it!!!Flag

Name: Chris Thomas on Aug 2, 2005State: KSCountry: USComments: You r certainly correct about this issue. Houston is a greater scen of looks of daylight looks very interesting and more of a city skyline ever seen almost anywhere in the U.S.A. But at night its not what people could imagine seeing at night. Its pretty hard to find the right kind of pic of the Night Skylne of HOUSTON on internet. They morly are shown during daylight. I have designed a pic of Houston if the skyline lghts were to be the TEXAS FLAG COLORS.Flag
