The gay community represents a cross section of people from every walk of life. How can we expect main stream America to accept us for who we are, but exclude people of color. The goal of this petition is too have a wider variety of programing that focuses on gay and human rights and social issues. It's a known fact that the gay community is divided but yet we all have the same issues. What better way to bring people together. This will only happen if the programming becomes more inclusive. This petition also seeks to have African American writers and producers contracted to express this point of view through their artistic gifts.
