Tell the DNC & DCCC We Want the Best Candidates, Not the Best Fundraisers!

56 Signatures Goal: 100

Please help us send a loud and clear message to the DNC, the DCCC & any other Party organization - we want the BEST Candidates available! PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION TODAY! Help us tell them the candidates we want are not the ones who can just demonstrate they can fundraise, but those who have, and do, demonstrate they can lead, think, be compassionate, be honorable and ethical, and want to serve something greater than themselves. Yesterday in Ohio - a man like this, Paul Hackett, narrowly lost a special election Congressional race. Come November 2006 - candidates like Eric Massa - who are the walking billboards for what is best in our citizens - will face similar battles for congressional districts, the Senate & governorships all over the nation. Paul Hackett and Eric Massa are examples of exactly the kind of people we want guiding us - and they should have the full backing and support of the Democratic Party . They should NOT be made to do a tap dance proving they can generate some arbitrary sum of money to indicate the measure of support for their candidacy, simply because they have never held elective office before or are relatively unknown. The Party organizations are supposed to help candidates - not hamstring them, and not make them beg for help with hat in hand! We urge you to sign this petition and tell them loud and clear - WE WANT THE BEST CANDIDATES. WE WILL ACCEPT NOTHING LESS & IF YOU WON\'T SUPPORT THEM, WE WON\'T SUPPORT YOU!
