We the undersigned protest that the Bellingham Riding Club Board of Directors has passed a motion that all members be notified that they may not create or maintain any social media or internet site using the name Bellingham Riding Club (or any variation of that name) in the title or description without board approval. By signing this petition, we hope to encourage the board to reconsider their decision in light of the number of members who disagree with their interference of our constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech. No one expected, or was told that this right had to be forfeited as a condition of membership, nor do we feel that it should be.
