We, the undersigned, call upon the Ministry of Defence to reverse their decision not to have a Homecoming Parade in the City of Belfast. We are proud of the service given by our soldiers and demand the right to welcome them home in our capital city.

I'm an Ulsterman, sickened by the decision by the MOD not to accept the invitation by Belfast City Council to hold a homecoming parade for the Royal Irish and the Irish Guards. We are all owed the right to give Our Troops a warm welcome home to our capital city and to pay tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice.
