Add blocks, hubbas, wallrides, ledges, manual pads, flat bars, curved rails and ledges. Wide mini ramp to add option for progression up to the bowl. Leave the bowl as is. Don't gerny of the graffiti, paint over it.Flag

Name: Rob Gowland on Jan 21, 2008Comments: In my opinion, a good street plaza at Belconnen skatepark will attract the best skateboarders (and other park users) from around Australia and the world to the ACT. Skateboarding has changed so much in the 20 or so years that I've been following it and most other major cities in Australia have kept up with this. But not Canberra. Once, Belconnen skatepark was a drawcard for many skaters around Australia and the world. Over time the facilities at Belconnen have become far outdated and, as such, Belconnen has been skipped as a destination for visiting profesionals and amateurs from overseas. The addition of a street plaza at Belconnen would deffinately increase the likley hood of professional teams from around the world visiting our lovely city. It would also be a great place for the younger generation of Canberran skaters to go to practice and hone their skills in the hope to maybe one day compete against the best in the world. It's time to put the ACT back on the map for skateboarding!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 22, 2008Comments: after five dock recently gained one of the best bowl skateparks in nsw, i've personally watched the progression of skaters and bmxers increase 10 fold. supplying a facility similar would benefit the scene greatly, as i often travel to canberra to enjoy the large ramp facilities such as weston creek, gunghalin and belconnen, but feel they are becoming increasingly outdated.Flag

Name: Ti Coleing on Jan 22, 2008Comments: Even though I live in Sydney I make regular trips to Canberra for work and also to skate at the parks, as there are a few different aspects to the parks there. However, over time there seems to have been a lack of newer facilities built, making it less attractive to make the trek down there for such missions... Having new, current-style facilities constructed would definitely attract myself, plus many other nomadic skaters back down there more regularly!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 23, 2008Comments: I would like a street plaza type of park as long as it had some other things as well. I would like the donut bowl removed and replaced with something better as well at the vert ramp removed and replaced with something bigger and better. The Vert ramp is currently completely unuseable. Some uniquie obsticles is definatley what Belco needs so it will become a drw card again. The bowl still draws international skaters but the rest of the park is well out dated. The concrete around the park is becoming very rough and corroded and there are cracks appearing. This not only make s the ramps suck but it's also dangerous.Flag

Name: Marc Rupil on Jan 23, 2008Comments: To modernise and revamp belco. If not to build another park in canberra that is up to the standards to todays skate parks. I think canberra is due for a new park considering how many fellow skateboarders there are around. This would improve the quality of skateboarders in canberra which would eventually build a name on the major circuit of skateboarding. RupilFlag
